چکیده
Standardized, collaborative decision-making processes have already been implemented at some network-relevant airports, and these can be further enhanced through data-driven approaches (e.g., data analytics, predictions). New cost-effective implementations will also enable the appropriate integration of small medium-sized airports into aviation network. The required increasingly gathered processed by themselves. For example, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) messages are sent arriving departing aircraft a analysis movements, taking account local constraints weather or capacity). Analytical model-based that leverage offer deeper insights complex interdependent airport operations. This includes systematic monitoring relevant operational milestones as well corresponding predictive to estimate future system states. In fact, ADS-B receivers purchased, installed, maintained low cost, providing both very good coverage apron operations (runway, taxi system, parking positions) communication current performance network management. To prevent every from having develop its own we present basic concept with our approach. We demonstrate processing leads improved situational awareness. Our is aligned Eurocontrol’s Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) framework. Therefore, analyze A-CDM London–Gatwick it allows us validate against implementation later stage. Finally, research, make decisive contribution open-data scientific community.

Metrics to Characterize Airport Operational Performance Using Surface Surveillance Data
Detailed surface surveillance datasets from sources such as the Airport Surface Detection Equipment, Model-X (ASDE-X) have the potential to be used for the analysis of airport operations, in addition to their primary purpose of enhancing safety. This paper describes how surface surveillance data can be used to measure airport performance characteristics in three different ways: (1) Characteriza...
متن کاملOperational Analytics Data Management Systems
Prior to mid-2000s, the space of data analytics was mainly confined within the area of decision support systems. It was a long era of isolated enterprise data warehouses curating information from live data sources and of business intelligence software used to query such information. Most data sets were small enough in volume and static enough in velocity to be segregated in warehouses for analy...
متن کاملEnhancing Learning from Imbalanced Classes via Data Preprocessing: A Data-Driven Application in Metabolomics Data Mining
This paper presents a data mining application in metabolomics. It aims at building an enhanced machine learning classifier that can be used for diagnosing cachexia syndrome and identifying its involved biomarkers. To achieve this goal, a data-driven analysis is carried out using a public dataset consisting of 1H-NMR metabolite profile. This dataset suffers from the problem of imbalanced classes...
